Thank god for this because I generally don't wear a helmet. In fact I just threw the only one I had, out. It was about 6 years old anyways, I doubt it even fit.

Yeah, a bit too much for a beginner, but that's the only bike I can found locally.

The brake line might be a bit much, but the rest of the bike is fine.

I agreed. This is a pre-assembly unit. By the time I need a new brake pads and I will ask the shop to trim it for sure.

Thats and awesome first bike, second bike, comp bike.
Just trim the rear line yourself. You need to invest in a magura bleeder kit anyway. Also buy a magura block (its like $5) to push the end piece into the hose, or just buy some olives and you are set.
Enjoy your ride, you will progress fast. Just remember, if you cant do something, its not the bike, its you, this bike is perfect for trials. Practice, practice.

Have you ever had brand new hs33s?

Rear disc brakes have a habit of getting the crap smashed out of them.
At least on a trials bike anyway. Imagine if you're side hopping to the side the disc brake is on and you don't quite get far enough over. You'll slam your disc against whatever you're trying to get up onto.

If you do go disc, get good disc brakes. Low end disc brakes = fail.
